His early work was mostly houses in Chile. The Mestizo Restaurant in Santiago (2007) belongs to the same years, and at Viña Vik Winery in the Millahue valley (2014), designed with Loreto Lyon, he built a winery set into the vineyards. That year he made one of seven bus shelters for the Austrian village project BUS:STOP Krumbach (2014) and the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion in London, a translucent fibreglass shell resting on large quarry stones. The Teatro Regional del Biobío in Concepción (2018) is his largest public building.
