Lundgaard & Tranberg is a Danish architecture practice in Copenhagen, founded in 1985 by Boje Lundgaard and Lene Tranberg. In the 1990s it was known mainly for heat and power plants and other technical buildings; its breakthrough with the wider public came in the mid-2000s with the Charlottehaven housing (2004) and above all with a student hall and a theatre. Lundgaard left in 2004, just as this success arrived, and Tranberg has led the practice since with a new group of partners. Its buildings have won six RIBA European Awards.

Tietgenkollegiet in Copenhagen's Ørestad (2006), the student hall, is a seven-storey ring inspired by the round Hakka houses of southern China, cut into five sections by vertical passages; every room faces outward, while kitchens, lounges and terraces face the central courtyard to bring residents together. The Royal Danish Playhouse (2008), the theatre, projects about 40 per cent of its bulk over the water and is edged by a 150-metre promenade of rough oak planks on crooked, Venetian-style columns. Kannikegården in Ribe (2015), beside the cathedral, followed.
