Find Great Architecture (findgreatarchitecture.com and its official social media accounts) is a free, independent project run by Akshat Pagaria. By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

What this is

A free, browsable wall of buildings for architects, architecture students and anyone interested in architecture: credited photographs, short notes on each building, links to plans, articles and books elsewhere, and a building-guessing quiz. There is nothing to buy.

Using the website

You are welcome to browse, study and share links to any page, and to use what you learn here for your own coursework and research. Please do not scrape the site wholesale, republish its content as your own, try to break or overload it, or use it for anything unlawful.

Photographs, credits and copyright

Photographs are credited to their photographers and sources on each building’s page and in each social media post, and are used under the licences named there. Copyright stays with the photographers and rights-holders, not with me, and a credit here is not permission for you to reuse an image: go to the credited source for that.

The website’s own text, design, building notes and the videos I make are © Find Great Architecture; you may share links to them freely. Building, practice and project names belong to the architects and firms concerned, and nothing here implies that any of them endorses this project.

If something is wrong

If you own rights in an image used here and want it removed, or a credit is missing or wrong, email me with the page or post and the image, and I will correct or remove it promptly. Factual corrections about any building, architect or date are just as welcome.

The quiz

The building quiz is for fun and practice. Your progress is kept only in your own browser, so it disappears if you clear your browser data or change device.

Accuracy

I try to get names, dates, places and descriptions right, but mistakes happen. Nothing here is professional architectural, engineering, planning or safety advice. Check against a primary source before relying on anything for academic, professional or construction work.

Links to other websites

Pages here link to archives, journals, bookshops and other websites. They are not mine, I do not control what they publish or how they treat your data, and a link is not an endorsement.

Availability

The website is offered as it is, with no promise that it will always be available, complete or error-free. I may change or remove content, or take the site down, at any time.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or from relying on anything published here.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the revised terms.
