J. Mayer H. is a Berlin architecture practice founded in 1996 by the German architect and artist Jürgen Mayer H. (born 1965 in Stuttgart), who studied at the University of Stuttgart, the Cooper Union and Princeton. Since 2014, when Andre Santer and Hans Schneider joined as partners, it has been called J. Mayer H. und Partner. The practice works where architecture meets communication and new technology, from urban plans and buildings to installations and objects in new materials, and its work is held in collections including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

The Stadthaus Scharnhauser Park in Ostfildern (2002), a town hall, is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. For Georgia it designed a series of public buildings, among them Queen Tamar Airport in Mestia (2010) and the Sarpi Border Checkpoint on the Black Sea (2011). The Metropol Parasol in Seville (2011), chosen from 65 entries in a city competition, spreads a canopy of roughly 150 by 70 metres over the Plaza de la Encarnación; known locally as Las Setas, "the mushrooms", it is marketed as the world's largest wooden structure.
