The Ordos Museum in Inner Mongolia (2011), a large open-plan space with six levels of galleries, was influenced by the Gobi Desert and the work of Buckminster Fuller. The Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort (2013) was followed by the Harbin Opera House (2015), clad entirely in white aluminium panels at the heart of a cultural island in the wetlands of the Songhua River. Quzhou Stadium (2022) sets its stands into a landscaped park under a 250-metre floating membrane roof and has been described as a work of "land art". MAD's buildings are studied for curving forms drawn from nature.
