Mansilla + Tuñón was a Spanish architecture practice founded in Madrid in 1992 by Luis Moreno Mansilla (1959–2012) and Emilio Tuñón (born 1958), both from Madrid; it worked until Mansilla's death in 2012. The two taught at the Madrid school of architecture, ETSAM, and at Harvard, the EPFL in Lausanne, the Städelschule in Frankfurt and Princeton, and in 2009 they directed the Spanish Architecture Biennial. Much of their work came from public competitions for museums, libraries and cultural centres across Spain, and in 2014 the practice received Spain's Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts.
