WOHA is a Singapore architecture and industrial design firm founded in 1994 by Wong Mun Summ and Richard Hassell, its name taken from the first two letters of each surname. The two met at Kerry Hill Architects and began with private houses, then turned to public and commercial work after winning two competitions for Singapore metro stations in 2000. Its high-rise buildings use planting as a building material and stay open to the breeze to reduce air conditioning, an approach the firm calls "breathing architecture", aimed at better living in dense tropical cities. The 1 Moulmein Rise condominium won the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2007.

The Met in Bangkok (2009), a residential tower, won the International Highrise Award and the RIBA Lubetkin Award, whose jury saw it as proof "that an alternative strategy to the sleek air-conditioned box can work in the tropics". The Parkroyal Collection Pickering hotel (2013) carries 15,000 square metres of terraced "sky gardens", and the Oasia Hotel Downtown (2016) wraps its tower in aluminium mesh supporting more than 50 species of plants.
