The Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ in Amsterdam (2005) is Amsterdam's main hall for contemporary classical music, built over the IJ tunnel. Ørestad Gymnasium in Copenhagen (2007) turns four boomerang-shaped floors around one another to make a school of open study spaces instead of closed classrooms. The Bella Sky Hotel in Copenhagen (2011) is two towers, 76.5 metres high, leaning 15 degrees in opposite directions. Den Blå Planet (National Aquarium Denmark) (2013) and Quay Quarter Tower in Sydney (2022) are among its later works. 3XN's projects are studied for how a building's form can shape the way people meet and learn.
